About us
VOSSKO is a convenience specialist for frozen and chilled poultry, beef and pork as well as vegetarian and vegan products. VOSSKO was founded in 1982 by Bernhard and Maria Vosskötter. Today, our fast-growing, family-run company at the Ostbevern site employs over 850 people and provides products of the highest quality. Around 500 employees also work at the second site in the city of Lages in Brazil. VOSSKO has thus developed into the sixth largest poultry company in Germany.
Philosophy
Our philosophy at VOSSKO is strongly influenced by our roots as a family-run company. Founded in 1982, the company has been taken over over the years by her three sons Dietmar, Clemens and Ansgar Vosskötter. This close family bond is reflected in all aspects of our work and shapes our daily activities. The family management not only contributes individual expertise and experience, but also a deep commitment to the values that have characterized VOSSKO since the beginning: quality, innovation and responsibility.
History
When it was founded, the sales area was still limited to Westphalia. At that time, we only supplied food retailers. Today, we have a nationwide presence in Germany, are very well established in many European and several South American markets and are systematically expanding our international presence in all sales areas. In addition to the food retail trade, we supply manufacturers of ready meals, stir-fries, delicatessen salads and other foods. Since 2006, we have been marketing an independent range for professional providers of catering services in the out-of-home market.
Locations
VOSSKO is a globally active company with strong roots in the region. Our headquarters are located in Ostbevern, where our fast-growing, family-run company employs over 850 dedicated employees. This is where our high-quality convenience products are developed and produced. We also have a second site in Lages, Brazil, where around 500 employees manufacture our products. Both locations, as well as additional branches as sales companies in the UK and Switzerland, form the basis for our success and continuous growth.
